Berlin’s Grand Stages

There is nothing like visiting one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the world and staying in grand surroundings. It just adds to the trip and if you can afford the extra luxury, then it  is definitely worth it. Berlin has so many grand stages housing opera and theatre, then why not indulge yourself and try another style of stage for your accommodation. After all, hotels are something of a performance and the staff are your entertainers.

Berlin is a city full of beauty and style, almost a joyous assault on your senses, so to then continue this in your hotel makes your trip that little bit better. Finding one of the many hotel Berlin has to offer to meet your budget is an easy task, but then to find one that gives you extra luxury is fantastic. The hotel I stayed in was in the heart of Berlin and only minutes walk away from historic monuments, cultural venues and also big name luxury shops. It truly is a city to indulge in the finer side of life.

There are many grand buildings in the city to go and visit, least of of the House of Cultures of the World, or Kongresshalle, which houses a museum for non-European art. The building itself is something of wonder, built in the 1950s as a gift from America located in the vast and green Tiergarten park, another place to lost yourself around some great architecture and scenery.

I never fail to find something new and beautiful in Berlin, the list of things to see and do is seemingly endless. On my next visit I need to see a new opera performance and get some musical culture into my skin. Again, even to just sit in a grand venue waiting for a performance makes me skin tingle and the hairs stand up. Somewhere like the Berliner Philharmonie, a wonderful, wedge-shaped building with sweeping curves on its roof can conjure up great ideas before taking in a wonderful emotional concerto.

I love Berlin, it has so much to offer to anybody willing to make the trip, and for a little bit more money can be a truly glamorous and grand trip. Take it, you won’t forget it.
